Don't want to wait for the Windows XP service pack 3 CD. Then there is a way to make it your own. If you collected all the hot fixes and updates from the microsoft downloads, your life is very easy to burn your own Windows XP service pack 3 CD.According to Ryans XP sp2 pack weighs just around 50 MB and it has every hotfix, security patch released after XP SP2. Just download and unzip the files, then extract all files to your xp sp2 cd directory> i386 and click integrate.
Once the integration is complete, you just have to burn to XP SP2 folder and you are done. This is much like the AutoPatcher project that was discontinued after a legal threat from Microsoft
